Rahul's ton helps KXIP to register first Win in IPL2020

Kxip punjab captain KL Rahul who made his first IPL century as a captain (132* runs in 69 balls) which is also a highest individual score by any captain in IPL. 

KL Ton helped KXIP to set a huge target for RCB of 207 runs in 20 overs. After winning toss RCB invited KXIP to bat first but their bowlers didnot played accordingly due to which Punjab got a good start. In last overs Kohli droped KL twice (one at 82 runs and another at 90 runs) after getting to lifelines KL scored 49 runs with Karun in last 2 overs.

In reply of that RCB got deadly start and lost 3 wickets at the score of just 4 runs including captain kohli as well but later Sunfer and Dubey helped to reach a decent score. But later RCB was lost by Punjab by 97 run.

IPL 13 going to start Today

MI vs CSK first IPL13 Match Today

 

 

 

After a wait of 6 months IPL season 13 is goint to be started from Today onwards. In Openning match defending champion will be playing against on of the finest IPL team Chennai Super Kings. Last year in final these both teams played in that final MI defeated CSK by 1 run and won the IPL title for the 4th time which is highest by any team. This season some new players have joined and some players have left the team as well so now it will be quite interested to see who is going to outshine others.

 

This season Suresh Raina and Harbhajan singh are not playing so this will affect CSK but how much it will this all will be cleared as tournaments get progresses. Cris Lynn has joined Mumbai Indians this seasons so his presence will help MI in top orders but it will also be very interesting how MI is using him as team is having Quinton de Kock who opens with Rohit Sharma and also handle the glove works for MI.

Defending Champion Mumbai Indians is one of the best team in IPL which has won the titles highest 4 times (2013,2015,2017 & 2019). Last year Mumbai Indians defeated another IPL best team CSK and won the title. In IPL MI has defeated CSK 3 times in final and one time RPS. MI is well balanced IPL team and has all the best combination which is required for a team to play in a ground. From operners to middle order and from lower middle orders to tailenders, everyone is clear about his role and play accordingly. 

Last year before auction MI has retained some players and also releases some of players from team. MI has also trade some of the players with others team and bought few players during IPL auction which was held in Dec 2019.

Including Trent Boult will defenately release some pressure from Bumrah and also Malinga has pulled his name from IPl these season so Boult can replace him in death overs. In Middle overs or in slog overs Pandya & Pollard will be key players when MI needs some fire strokes.

Weakness : Lack of proper spinners in squard will be a big problem for MI as this time IPL is going to play in UAE where pitches will be slow and as the tournament progresses pitches will be spin friendly so team may face some problem even though Rahul, Jayant and Krunal is there. One big blow for MI is Malina will not be available this season so in death overs who will be Bumrah's partner though Boult is there but in reality no one can actually take the place of Malinga when it comes to death bowling, perfect yorkers and experience.

Opportunities : This season IPL is in UAE and will be played only in three venues i.e. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah so every team will be having equal cricketing venue, no extra advantages like Indian conditions of having seperate home grounds. Mumbai Indians can take this as an opportunities and take the advantages of it as being one of the best balanced team.

Treats : For MI condition will be the biggest treat though team is balanced but UAE condition doesnot suits MI. Last time when MI played here in 2014, lost all 5 matches so this  time team should understand the condition and also make combination accordingly.

Eng won by 24 runs in Do or Die Match

England defeated Australia by 24 runs in second odi of ongoing bilateral series. England won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 232 runs in front of mighty Aus side despite of early strikes. For Eng Captain Morgan was a highest scorer 42 runs and made a partnership with Root 39, but Ausies Spinner Zampa restricted them in middle overs and took 3 early wickets due to which at one stage Eng was struggling but later tail ender batsmen like Curran and Rasid made 76 runs partnership and helped England to set a fighting total.

In reply to 231 Aus start was also not good and they lost David Warner early but captain Finch (73 runs) made Half century and also made partnership with Marcus help Aus to come closer to the target but as soon as they departed aus lost 4 wickets in just 20 balls and just added 3 runs. From there they failed to do comeback and English bowlers succeeded to defend a small target. For England Woakes, Archer and Curran took 3-3 wickets and Rasid took 1 wickets.

Tom Curren and Adil  Rasid helped England to set a target of 232 runs against Aus in second ODI after quick blown.Curran scored 37 runs in 39 balls and Rasid Scored 35* runs in 26 balls. Openers failed to give a good start in Do or Die match and England lost 2 wickets  at 29 runs then Root 39 runs and Morgan 42 runs  tried to build the Innings but Adam Zampa put water on fire and pushed England on back foot and took 3 wickets quickly due to which English middle order collapsed but later tailenders helped to set a fighting total.

For Aus both Starc and Hazlewood gave a good start and only conceded 32 runs in first powerplay and took 2 wickets. later they got support from zampa 36/3.

Indian former Cricketer and veteran off Spinner Harbhajan Singh has tweeted related to cricket yesterday and given some hint thta he has come to know something about the cricket that will change the way people look forever. Harbhajan Singh was supposed to play for CSK this season in IPL but due to some personal reason he was initially supposed to join CSK on 1st September but later he said he won't join CSK this season and pulled out himself. But tweet posted by Harbhajan has raised a lot of questions like what he has come to know ? whether he is giving hint of something that everything is not going well in Cricket specially in IPL and BCCI?

Initially in this month Suresh Raina pulled himself from IPL and a rumour was speculating that he was not happy with the  balcony that was provided in Hotel but later CSK owner said that if Raina didnot play he would miss 11 crores but later he said Raina is like his son and he wished Raina would join CSK before IPL gets started.By the way Raina returned to India after his uncle got killed in Pathankot and made himself not available for this IPL. Can we relate Harbhanjan's tweet with that CSK incident ? or Harbhajan has said something else ?

After losing first ODI by 19 runs England is ready to do comeback against Australia in 2nd ODI which is going to be played in Old Trafford, Manchester on 13th September.

 Deepal Chahar joins CSK after Corona, Malan Not to Replace Raina

CSK medium pacer Deepak Chahar who was tested covid positive on 4th Sept has recently joined CSK after getting recovered. He has been tested negative and has completed all formalities set by BCCI and is ready to play in the IPL openning match against defending champion MI. Deepak has started his net practice and this will be a great advantage for CSk and for their fans. Deepak Chahar has played 34 IPL matches since 2017 and taken 33 wickets so far. Last year playing for CSK he played 17 matches and took 22 wickets at an avg of 21.90 and economy of 7.47. If he plays this season in initial matches then he will play a key role for CSK in powerplay.

 

CSK management has also cleared all speculations related to Devid Malan replacing Suresh Raina. They said its a rumour and till now team management has not ye decided who is going to replace Raina this season. 

 

Suresh Raina is an Indian Player and in IPL only 4 overseas players are allowed to play in a team which means if CSK replaces Malan in Place of Raina then it will not be a good option and they will suffer. Csk will definately look for Indian players as a replacement of Suresh Raina so that they can adjust their batting lineup and play with full strength. Trinbago Knight Riders won CPL20 Finals by 8 wickets

TKR have created HISTORY by winning every match of CPL20 this season and defeated Zouks by 8 wickets in the final and captured the cup. 

While doing batting first Zouks set a target of 155 runs against TKR. From Zouks side Andre Fletcher was highest scorer and he scored 39 in 27 balls. While Pollard was the highest wicket taker, he conceeded 30 runs and took 4 wickets.

In UAE, during practice session Rohit hit a bus window with his six. The bus was moving on a road and on the same time Rohit was doing his practice for the upcoming openning match against one of the top IPL team i.e. Chennai Super kings on 19th Sept. He smashed the ball with his bat for a six and the ball crossed the stadium and hit the bus due to which the window of the bus got broken. Indian former all rounder Yuvraj Singh is planning to come out of retirement and play for punjab domestic in T20. For that he wrote to BCCI and waiting for the permission to be granted. He further added, he felt happy after playing a log gap and he found his body was responding in a positive way and hence he got impressed. He also added that punjab cricket association wants him to play for punjab state in Domestic T20 matches. They think that if Yuvraj plays then this will give lot of advantages to the young players and yuvraj will share his experience with that.
